Read publisher results in context
Publisher outcomes should be assessed alongside audience sources, placement changes and the visitor experience.
Define the property
Identify whether the inventory is a content website, mobile property or application. Describe the audience languages, geography, device mix and acquisition sources. Different contexts should not be compared using revenue totals alone.
Measure the change
Record the placement, test period, eligible impressions, fill and net revenue. State the currency, deductions and reporting timezone. Compare like-for-like periods and account for traffic growth or changes in source mix.
Review visitor experience
Track layout stability, page performance, content engagement and user controls during a test. Consider whether changes in ad density or placement affect visitors. A sustainable result should support the publisher’s content and audience relationships.
Prepare a property review
Share your public URL, dated aggregate audience information and proposed placements through the publisher form. The partnership guide explains integration, reporting and settlement questions.
Campaign and reporting scope
Cumulative network totals, monthly activity and individual campaign results describe different measures. Compare the same date range, inventory, attribution window and currency. Campaign availability, delivery requirements and commercial terms are agreed for your brief.
